We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Back End Developer who is passionate about building robust, scalable cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience working on complex software products, a strong academic background in Computer Science or Engineering, and practical experience developing in Python.

This role is part of the backend team within the SW department.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, estimation, and implementation of new features
• Hands-on backend development of cloud-based capabilities
• Take part in maintaining and ensuring the availability and performance of the production system.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of software R&D experience working on complex software systems
• B.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience developing in Python
• Experience with Kubernetes is an advantage
• Ability to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment
• Excellent self-learning capabilities
• Creativity in dealing with new problems and finding cost-effective solutions
• Experience working on a production system based on one of the major cloud services
• Experience with BigQuery, Mongo, and/or Postgres databases is an advantage
• Experience with machine learning is an advantage
